AIME Scholarships
Henry DeWitt Smith Scholarship - (Application deadline is June 15)
Awarded and administered by the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical, and Petroleum Engineers (AIME), and established in 1967 in honor of Henry DeWitt Smith’s contributions to the mining industry, this scholarship assists worthy students in the pursuit of their graduate education in mining, metallurgical or petroleum in the United States or Canada. http://www.aimehq.org/awards/viewaward.cfm?TypeID=25
Lewis E. and Elizabeth W. Young Scholarships
Awarded and administered by the Woman’s Auxiliary to the AIME (WAAIME), this scholarship was established in 2003 in honor of Lewis E. Young a noted mining engineer, consultant and educator, and his wife, Elizabeth W. Young, an active member of WAAIME.
